Michael X. Joannou is  a Cypriot distinguished Poet, Writer and Lawyer .

By reading his biography one can realize that he was the man of social activity, and –although he practiced many actual positive roles , he still remains one of the best –in depth- poets and literary men touching easily - with the background of his homeland and co-citizens sufferings- touching the essential pictures of human fears, hopes, and agonies .
